Dear blog readers, I am going to share a recent case. This was a 25-year old female with multiple acute problems for last 2 more months when she came to me one month ago. She was describing very severe headache as her main complaint along with nausea. No fever. Blood pressure bit low and anemic. I gave her Glonine 200 and Belladonna 200.
. Two days later she returned and told no improvement. Now I gave her Rhus Tox 200 and Psorinum 200. After two days again she visited and told last medicines worked for her so I reduced the dosing to once a day of each medicine from twice a day. Two days later she again came but now she told she started to have crippling very severe wrists and elbows joint pains. I sensed it as indication of rheumatic in origin, but at this visit she came with negative RA factor report too recently done. I still guessed that her sufferings are of rheumatic origin and gave her Kalmia 30 and Kali Bichrom 30 water dose to which she responded very well. At this visit she was very calm and told that since November 2015 she was having fevers with chills with headaches, very disturbed sleep, and palpitations.She consulted many doctors with few improvement. At this visit she also described her unique presentation of joint pain. She first started to have pain in wrists for one day then both elbows then shoulder then knees then feet then fingers then neck then face and lastly chin. All these pains were worse during evening. She is okay now and she and her husband are very obliged. At last visit I asked about the presence of rats in their house and they replied there are lots of rats around. I then cautioned them that her disease could be due to rat urine contamination also so maintain good hygiene to remain healthy. Thanks.
