Numerous Small Warts On Right Cheeks Only-Homeopathic Approach And Treatment

Weight: 49 Kg.

A 30-year-old female asked for homeopathic treatment for warts on the right lower cheeks extending to upper neck also. These warts erupted about five months ago after an episode of severe menstrual bleeding. She initially was not concerned about them, as they were causing no problems except disfiguring the face.

These warts are present only on the right side of the face are small, round, pointed brownish papular warts.

The patient also complained of excessive flatulence after C-section six years ago (I had quite commonly notified about flatulence after C-section by lots of females as a side effect of C-section) and recent weight loss related to menstrual problem and poor appetite.

Considering blood loss and flatulence, Carbo Vegetabilis and Kali Carbonicum were given to the patient. (Note:-According to synthesis repertory, Carbo Vegetabilis is a 3rd grade homeopathic medicines for warts and Kali Carbonicum has rubrics Warts on face (++), Old Warts (++) and painful warts (+) in synthesis.)

No significant changes were noted after completion of three day treatment. Meanwhile case was repertorized with these symptoms (CNPRST:-Know More About This) and results were as follows

The patient was started on Causticum based on her sympathic nature and Calcarea Carbonica and Dulcamara were not considered at this time because there was apparently absence of any constitutional, mental, or physical symptoms supporting to these medicines.

After 15 days of treatment with Causticum and Carbo Vegetabilis, there was some improvement (now she cannot pick them by fingers), but not significant as it was expected. Decision was made to change to Causticum with Sepia, which follows well after Causticum and the patient also informed about excessive hair fall and feeling chillness these days.

The patient also reported severe dysmenorrhea and asked medicine for this problem too so decision was made to change Carbo Vegetabilis with Belladonna, which is also good medicine for both menses problems as well as for warts and also acute for Calcarea Carb, which is on top on in repertorization and will be given at later stage to complete the treatment.
