People of Delhi and UP were suffering with fever and severe pain in joints mainly severe knee pain and extreme weakness followed severe painful/tender lower extremities mainly calf muscles and many of them are found tested positive for chikungunya.

Dengue and Chikungunya are mostly diagnosed on the basis of clinical symptoms because diagnostic tests are costly and at times not accurate.
