An adult dwarf obese female not well dressed came to my
dispensary who looked of irritated personality.
She complained of frequent headache, body aches, dry cough,
breathlessness on exertion, shoulder pain, flatulence, and abdominal
distension.
She also complained of back pain, blind piles,
sleeplessness, vertigo, and urine incontinence.
On examination, her tongue was coated with little blue tint
and there were posterior tongue bumps.
Throat was congested red. Examining thyroid also reveals bit enlargement
of thyroid. On auscultating the lung revealed abnormal bronchial sounds in
right middle lung. Pulse was 74, low
and hard to perceptible. Her blood pressure was 130/90 and she uses
antihypertensive meds.
She perspires profusely and feels much thirst. Her urine is scanty generally and as
mentioned above she also have urine incontinence.
Upon asking about family history and personal history, she
told she had personal history of tuberculosis and get treated with allopathic
meds successfully. She can not tolerate
extremes of temperature and feels bad in very hot and very cold weather
condition.
While interrogating I find her to be of choleric and
lymphatic temperament.
Recurrent aches, dry cough, headache, back pain, and vertigo
may indicate that she is prone to have frequent viral infections and currently
suffering with any viral infection.
Aches, breathing difficulties, dry cough, headache, vertigo,
and congested throat may be also due to
nasopharyngitis.
Constipation, abdominal distension, and hemorrhoids may be
due to sluggish liver.
Back pain, sleeplessness, urine incontinence, increase
thirst,and scanty urine may be due to chronic cystitis.
So finally she is suffering with obesity (due to
uncontrolled eating and may be due to some hormonal disturbance), high blood
pressure (due to obesity and lack of manual work), recurrent viral infections
(due to weak immune system), breathing difficulties (due to history of tuberculosis),
fatty liver (due to high content of fat in diet), and cystitis (due to poor
weak immune system may be due to candida infection as she is having some
Candida lesions on tongue. All problem are mainly due to bad life style.
It is a hard case to manage with homeopathy alone unless
patient supports fully and obeys all instructions and maintain healthy life
style.
