White Discolored Nail may be due to fungus

Recently an young female contacted me for discoloring of toenail most probably due to fungal infection. She also suffers from migraine headache, hair thinning, and blind piles. There is no pain or any other abnormal sensation in toenail. There were no traceable cause for her having this toenail except family history of onychomycosis and hot and humid weather condition. Other possible causes for this lady can be walking barefoot in damp places or any minor nail injury, which was unnoticed by patient. I also differentiated this case from nail psoriasis and found it less likely in the absence of scales and absence of any other lesions of psoriasis.

This lady is advised to take homeopathic medicines called Silicea 6X 4 tablets with half cup lukewarm water in morning and afternoon and to take Sepia 30 3-4 drops one time a day i.e. in evening for 15 days for now after consulting any local homeopath.
